Every AED purchased on AEDUniverse.com comes with a Free Medical Prescription/Medical Authorization to facilitate purchase. Why do I need this? You might ask.... AED's are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration FDA as Class III medical devices and can only be sold with a prescription (with the exception of the Philips Heartstart Onsite AED). We will send the appropriate documentation to you for compliance.
*Medical Prescription/Authorization should not be mistaken for Medical Direction. Some states require medical direction which is not included with the AED.
